Construction work has commenced on the new residential development at Forsthausgasse 9 in Vienna\u2019s 20th district. The planned complex comprises two buildings in closed-block development with a total of 256 apartments, as well as an underground garage providing parking spaces for cars and motorcycles.<\/p>\n
The apartments offer a diverse mix of one- to five-room units. Balconies and terraces on the upper floors, together with private gardens on the ground floor, will provide attractive outdoor spaces for future residents. The entire development is being constructed by BUWOG. The genereal contractor is STRABAG AG in accordance with the highest technical and environmental standards. Project completion is scheduled for spring 2028.<\/p>\n
The first stages of construction progress are already visible on site. Following the completion of the excavation works and excavation support measures, the first foundations have been constructed during the initial concrete pouring phases. At the same time, existing foundations in other construction sections are currently being demolished to prepare for the subsequent stages of the project. This will be followed by the preparation of the foundation bases, enabling construction works to continue as planned.<\/p>\n
