We were able to convince the jury with our contribution at the invitation-only competition “Studentenheim Mozartstrasse” in Klagenfurt and were awarded the 1st place!
The competition area is characterized by its excellent location and proximity to the University of Klagenfurt, the Lake Wörthersee and by its good accessibility to the city center.
The existing old property will undergo an extensive modernization in order to meet the contemporary demands of functionality, aesthetics, economy, and conservation of resources. A further part of the competition task was to develop an extension in a design and a functionally impressive way in order to link it to the old property.
With our contribution, we have developed a project which fulfills these requirements and furthermore is future-oriented.
