Ellener Hof, Bremen – Project presentation at Architecture Day in Bremen

As part of Architecture Day in Bremen, we had the opportunity to present our sustainable project ‘Ellener Hof’ to an interested public. The turnout of visitors was overwhelming and demonstrated a great interest in future-oriented living concepts. During this event, the project manager Denise Hammer and the two managing partners Harald Oissner and David Krestan conducted a total of three tours, during which they not only explained the urban planning and architectural concepts of the climate quarter, but also the multi-layered planning approaches.
The lively discussions highlighted the broad interest in resource-efficient planning and construction methods and topics such as material selection and sustainability, as well as innovative approaches such as circular use of building materials and modular construction.
There was also an opportunity to tour a newly constructed residential building, only 3 metres wide with a total of around 90 m² of living space on four levels. This building is an outstanding example of compact construction in an urban context and illustrates how intelligent living solutions can be created in a small space.
The inspiring day was rounded off with a short walk through Bremen’s historic old town, past the iconic monument to the Town Musicians of Bremen and along the Weser River, where the charming atmosphere of this traditional city was experienced. All in all, it was an exciting and rewarding day in Bremen, which provided numerous interesting impressions and an opportunity for a valuable exchange with architecture enthusiasts and experts.
