Three of our colleagues attended a TRILUX industry event in Wiener Neudorf. Together with ABB and Microsoft, TRILUX explored the latest developments in connected building automation, intelligent lighting and sensor technology, and the use of artificial intelligence.
A combination of technology insights and real-world examples illustrated how data, sensors and automated controls can work together to optimise energy consumption and adapt building functions to actual demand. Discussions with industry experts also addressed the requirements involved in planning, integrating and operating modern buildings efficiently.
A guided tour of the ecoplus building at IZ NÖ-Süd complemented the programme. On site, participants gained first-hand insights into the technical solutions in use, as well as the building’s architectural and lighting features.
The day concluded with a Weber barbecue workshop, combining hands-on cooking with plenty of opportunity for informal conversation. Preparing and enjoying the food together gave everyone time to continue discussions and make new connections.
