The remaining finishing work in the office and flats has already been completed. The carpet, parquet and tiled flooring and also the last few pieces if work on the installations and the electrics on the upper floors have been completed. The painters have also completed their work so the first pieces of furniture have already been set up in the office.
While all this has been happening, there is still a lot of construction site work in progress on the ground floor. Now that the floor has also been completed here, the current focus is on installing the acoustics in the event hall. For this purpose, the supporting structure for the acoustic baffles has been installed between the visible technical services in the ceiling so that every single ceiling panel can be installed by the drywall builders during the next stage. Meanwhile, the last few bits of finishing work in the sanitary areas and foyer are currently progressing rapidly.
Quite a lot of work has also been completed on the outside. Now that the façade has been completed, the scaffolding along Friedhofstrasse has already been removed. Once the locksmiths and window fitters have completed their work on Hauptstrasse, the scaffolding will also be taken down there very shortly. A great deal of progress can also be seen in the general open spaces on the ground floor. Whilst the paving has already been laid in the entrance area to the flats, construction of the outdoor facilities in the front area of the event hall is still a work in progress.
