In July, the special exhibition “EURO CASH – 20 Years of EURO Banknotes and Euro Coins” opened at the Money Museum of the Austrian National Bank in Vienna. Together with Holzer Kobler Architekturen GmbH, WGA ZT GmbH was allowed to develop a concept for the design and furnishing of the existing display cases.
In addition, a corresponding exhibition catalogue and folder were designed. The catalogue offers a clear summary of the history of the Euro cash as well as a short outlook. The design process for the Euro is presented in detail through first drafts, with statues and portraits of various European artists. The production of the paper to the finished banknote is also described in detail.
The exhibition can be visited free of charge until 30 June 2023. We hope that all visitors will enjoy the special exhibition at the Money Museum and look back on these interesting topics thanks to the catalogue.
