Two Fridays ago, the employees of WGA ZT GmbH once again took the opportunity to gain some insight of a project that is currently under construction.
As an already standing building, the focus of the building visit to Obersteinergasse 11 in Vienna’s 19th district was placed on the topic of remodeling and building additions. The employees were given the opportunity to discuss topics such as the renovation of the load-bearing structure of the existing building and the addition of two new attic floors with prefabricated components. During the building inspection, the factors that need to be taken into account in the planning of the already-standing building were discussed with examples of their accomplishment. The state of accomplishment of the object also provided the opportunity to take a closer look at the renovation of an existing staircase and the proposed solution for the fastening of the interior railing.
Finally, the construction team discussed the connection between the already standing garage and the newly planned two-level garage extension, as well as the challenges associated with the realisation of the access opening of the standing garage.
