This year’s ski day took us once again to the Stuhleck ski area at Semmering near Vienna. We all met at the main station to board the ordered bus together. At Stuhleck we then split up into groups. One group went skiing and snowboarding on the slopes, the other hiked through the snowy landscape to the top of the mountain. We were incredibly lucky as this day had spring-like temperatures for us throughout and we had a beautiful view of the breathtaking panorama.
Afterwards, we had lunch together in the panorama restaurant at the mountain station of the Weissenelfbahn. Well fortified, we spent the afternoon on the slopes or on the hiking route, to meet again at the bus in the late afternoon – after a warming drink – to start the return journey.
