On Friday, September 28, 2018 it was time again for a group office outing. Early in the morning at 08:00am, the WGA team gathered at the shipping station Wien City – Schwedenplatz. Half an hour later the trip started with the departure of the Twin City Liner from Vienna to Bratislava. The common destination (Bratislava) was reached within 75 minutes. In the morning a tour guide took us around the city, where we could learn more about the history, culture and architecture of Bratislava. At noon we walked across the bridge (Most SNP) to the other side of the Danube to Petrzalka, where we all had lunch together to enjoy the rest of the sunny day in Bratislava with fresh energy. In the afternoon we walked back and crossed the old bridge towards the old town to visit other interesting places in this city.
At the end of the beautiful day we visited an office building that is currently under construction in the city of Bratislava. At 6:38pm it was time to get on the train and head to Vienna. Less than an hour later the team said goodbye to each other at the Vienna Central Station and so the weekend could start! This year’s trip was also great due to the perfect weather and we are already looking forward to the next office outing together!
