The ceremonial groundbreaking on 2 July 2026 marked another important milestone in the construction of the new Schwarzenbek Primary School. Numerous guests from the worlds of politics and public administration, as well as from the companies involved in the build, gathered to celebrate the official start of the building phase.
Following the welcome, the Mayor of Schwarzenbek and the Hamburg site manager from Otto Wulff addressed those present. In their speeches, they emphasised the significance of the new building for the town of Schwarzenbek and the spirit of trust and cooperation among all those involved in the project.
A special moment of the event was the traditional filling of the foundation capsule. This was filled with a current daily newspaper, the building plans and coins, then placed in the foundation stone and ceremoniously set in concrete. This marked the symbolic start of the next phase of construction.
Our project manager also attended the groundbreaking ceremony and took the opportunity to discuss the progress made so far and the next steps with those involved in the project. As part of the project team, we are delighted to be actively supporting the realisation of this forward-looking school building and to be contributing to the project’s success together with all those involved.
