The residential complex on Fasanstrasse is located in the eastern part of Pixendorf. The 4.399m² large property is located in a quiet residential area, which is surrounded by small residential buildings, single-family houses, and neighboring green areas. In addition the site is located conveniently near the Tullnerfeld railway station.
The project consists of three two-story solid buildings with a total of 27 apartments. The residential complex contains large 2- and 3-room units, each of which has a private open area consisting of balconies or terraces and private gardens. There are also parking spaces available on the property which are attributed to the apartments, as well as storage and ancillary rooms. The pedestrian access to the facility is either through the traffic areas to the south or via generously laid out footpaths on the north and east sides.
The three residential buildings are built with the modular timber construction system from the Lukas Lang Building Technologies GmbH. Here the standard prefabricated components are assembled directly at the construction site with standard hand tools and cordless screwdrivers.This construction system allows a high level of flexibility and adaptability in every phase of the building’s use.
