During the architectural redesign of the Shopping City Seiersberg façade, our team faced the challenge of preparing the existing façades for a new, contemporary look whilst the centre remained open for business.
For Building 3, the focus of the first phase was on creating a fresh, uniform base for the new curtain-wall advertising façade. As the old background no longer met contemporary standards, it was visually neutralised by applying a new, high-quality coating. In addition, the mounting points for anchoring the new substructure to the existing façade were prepared.
On Building 5, the ageing and disorganised advertising façade was refurbished. As a first step, the large old advertising signs and the existing corrugated sheet metal cladding were completely dismantled. The existing substructure was straightened in the lower section and structurally reinforced where necessary.
