Wagramer Straße 112, Vienna – Groundbreaking ceremony

The groundbreaking ceremony for our new residential project was held at Wagramer Straße 112 in Vienna on 24th March 2026. We celebrated this important step towards forward-looking housing together with the deputy district mayor Karl Gasta, the client NOE Immobilien Development GmbH, the construction partner Voitl & Co. Baugesellschaft mbH and other stakeholders in the project.
This is a particularly exciting development along the newly designed Wagramer Straße, where Vienna’s first “street park“ will be built. A green oasis for recreation and leisure is being created on a 250-metre-long green space that was once dominated by cars. With a total area of 6,500 square meters, many sections of concrete and tarmac are being broken up and transformed into green oases. The central element of the project is the new road park, which will be surrounded by the impressive “mega-cycling highway“. This will cover a continuous distance of seven kilometres and allow cyclists to easily reach Kagran from Urania.
The impressive location in Vienna’s 22nd district also boasts excellent connections to local public transport, allowing residents to quickly reach both the city centre and the surrounding recreational opportunities. The popular Danube Centre, which offers numerous shopping opportunities, is very close by.
In addition, the Old Danube, which is known for its leisure activities, as well as the Gänsehäufel recreation area, is just a thirty-minute walk away and so offers inviting excursions for relaxation.
This housing project therefore does not just represent an enrichment for the residential landscape, but also promotes the improved quality of life in the region.
We are already looking forward to a good collaboration with everyone involved in the project.
