The ceremonial laying of the foundation stone marks an important milestone in the construction of the new Albert-Schweitzer-Schule in Neu-Isenburg. Over the coming years, a modern school building designed for all-day education and care will be built on the school grounds, replacing the existing building and providing space for a four-stream primary school.
The new building will offer contemporary learning and care facilities, an integrated sports hall and generous outdoor spaces for pupils. Particular emphasis is being placed on sustainable and future-oriented construction, including a timber hybrid structure, green roofs and photovoltaic systems. This will create a modern educational environment that meets the needs of learning, care and sustainability alike.
