On 12 March 2026, clients, construction workers and architects gathered for the topping-out ceremony of the new Service Centre on the ISTA Campus in Maria Gugging. This special occasion marks an important milestone in the construction process and is traditionally celebrated once the building’s structural work has been completed.
The ceremony was opened by the client, who warmly welcomed those present and highlighted the project’s significance for the future development of the campus. The youngest construction worker then recited the traditional topping-out speech. With his words, symbolising the solidarity and teamwork of all those involved, the transition to the next phase of construction was celebrated. Following the speech, a small reception was held, during which those present could toast the progress made so far. The celebration also provided an opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of those involved in the project.
The groundbreaking ceremony concluded with best wishes for the project’s continued progress and the shared goal of a sustainable and functional infrastructure.
Everyone involved is looking forward to the next steps and to celebrating the completion of the service yard soon.
