Important progress has been made on the construction site in recent weeks.
Work in the area of the changing rooms in component C has seen successful progress. The dirt and rainwater pipes have been laid there and the preparatory granular subbase has been created as a basis for the imminent foundation work. In addition, the reinforcement and formwork have been completed and successfully accepted at the end of May. Concrete was then laid for the foundations, which marked another important milestone in the construction process.
There was also visible progress in component J: the soil has been replaced and the wastewater pipes have been laid. At the same time, excavation work has continued on the embankment in the area of the car park.
The conditions for the upcoming renovation work have been created in the existing component A. The preparatory work has been completed with the creation of a sealed rehabilitation area including the locks and ventilation system that are needed. The renovation work is now underway.
In component D, the next steps have focused on removing the excavated material and then replacing the soil. This will create the conditions for further construction work.
