Since the start of construction of the nursing home in Gablitz in early summer, the shell up to the ceiling of the second upper floor has almost been completed in the meantime due to the fast progress of construction. Currently, the ceiling above the first floor is being constructed for construction phase 2. Most of the underpinnings on the ground floor have been removed, so that the first impressions of space and a sense of the future room dimensions are emerging.
In addition to prefabricated ceilings for thermal component activation and prefabricated walls, the building also uses prefabricated sanitary cells for all residents’ bathrooms in order to guarantee a high quality of workmanship while construction progresses quickly. The securely packed sanitary rooms have already been moved to their future positions on the first and second upper floors.
The first snow on the construction site and the surrounding green areas, as well as Christmas fairy lights running through the shell of the building, indicate the upcoming winter break on the construction site.
