During the year, WGA ZT GmbH organises internal site visits for all interested employees. These site visits, or in this case, the inspection of two completed projects, are particularly interesting for architects who were involved in the planning of the project to see how the planned project has been implemented in practice. But a visit can also be very instructive and exciting for all employees, as important topics, relevant to the planning and execution of buildings, are discussed.
On Friday 24 June 2022, it was time again and the WGA team was able to get a glimpse of two completed projects in bright weather. About 20 employees took part in the building visit and started at the completed Seestadt education campus. It was very exciting to get a professional tour of the educational campus including 56 educational rooms, after the first completed school year. During the tour, the interested colleagues took the opportunity to ask many questions, which were answered in detail by an administrative assistant and the building technician as well as our former project manager.
We then visited the completed Aspern J4 project – one of the largest urban development projects in Europe. Completed in 2020, the project is divided into three components and includes condominiums, serviced flats, offices, an adult education centre and commercial space. Thanks to the very friendly building management, we were granted access to all areas. The many stairs uphill paid off in the end – on the terrace of the building we were able to enjoy the beautiful view of the entire Urban Lakeside and end our working week!
