The Sigmund Freud Privatuniversität world´s first full-time study of psychotherapy science. The necessary lecture halls and seminar rooms form the focus of the space and functional program. The three independent buildings enter into a dialogue with the new campus of Vienna University for Economics and Business Administration. A special importance attaches to the development as it has also representative functions.
Neutral designed reserve space for a possible extension is planned to be able to react on different extension scenarios. To cover the need for living space, – often only for a short time – of teachers and students, the institute buildings will be supplemented with a boarding house with 165 rooms.
The project fits sensitively into the city and the landscape and offers to the future users attractive free areas, which divide the space and create connections between the interior and the exterior of the buildings.
